Infinite Monkey University - the Comic Strip. Check it out. It's always available from the Infinite Monkey button on the menu.

Today is the first part of a new series of "unscheduled" updates. These aren't comics per se, but they'll tell about the Monkeys. Once a week for awhile, on Tuesdays, I'll be adding a new Monkey for the Day. Starting the Monday before that, you could have seen them if you'd voted for Daily Wisdom (see below this text). They'll show as the "votey comic" for a week, then appear here.

For example, right now, you'd see Shakespeare Monkey if you voted. Then next Tuesday, he'll appear here. This will continue at least until I run out of new monkeys. So far, I've got 4 done and ready to view as their time comes.

These Monkeys are all cast members of IMU.

Now, a little bit about Web Comic Monkey. He was the first monkey to appear in Daily Wisdom. You could say he's the reason the rest came about.

He and Shakespeare Monkey graduated from Infinite Monkey University in May of 2007. They were roommates. But we'll hear more about IMU in the future.

Shortly after graduation, Web Comic Monkey came to work for me drawing comics. It was a good gig for him at first, but he soon fell back into drinking too much.

He took a leave of absence for awhile to try to get cleaned up. He briefly worked in tech support during that time. Then he went on to work for BananaSoft, a software company.

With the current recession, he was laid off. He is currently back working with me drawing comics. That's how I'm able to keep up with a regular schedule again.
