We drove past the light bulb store the other day. Chevy turns to me and says, "I bet they sell light bulbs." Without thinking, I replied, "No. Their sign is ironic. They sell ideas."

Working on doing more "freehand" work, although I think it would go more smoothly with a tablet. Or perhaps a new mouse. I keep forgetting my current mouse isn't very ergonomic and my wrist starts to hurt after extended use. The stick figures still don't look as good freehand (hence they aren't). I'll probably keep playing with them until they do.

I think I drew at least 50 monkeys this weekend between the computer and my sketchbook. I'm trying to refine the design so I can do them quickly and well freehanded. I'm still having some trouble getting the body to look how I want it, but the heads are coming along nicely, though I think it may drive me bananas before I'm finished.
