Daily Wisdom and IMU are currently on hiatus.
Daily Wisdom
Notes for the day:
Going down.
Monday, April 6, 2009

While I was watching Heroes last week, Chevy asked me if monkeys could have super powers. I replied simply, "Can people have super powers?" She promptly got frustrated with me and stopped the conversation. I'm pretty sure she was making a joke, but sometimes I'm mean and deny her the set up.

I'd like to interject here briefly with a Happy Birthday! to my brother, Ronnie. He's old.

This is comic #2 with a translucent background based on a real photo. I think it works pretty well in some of them. I also tried it on the image for Infinite Monkey University. I think it's fairly likely it's going to be a recurring style.

This comic is also part three of a series of doodles that turned into comics, although it s being posted before the other two. I was playing with lines and then realized it looked like a cape. That reminded me of the conversation with the wife, et voilĂ .

Comments
Only fictional, anthropomorphized monkeys can have super powers.
