I've been having issues with two neighbors lately. Well, that's not entirely true. One of them is a friend of the next door neighbor, but I think they've finally decided to tone it down.

They'd come by to pick someone up at 11:00 pm many nights and the whole living room would vibrate. One night after they'd been out there for 5 or 10 minutes, I went out and asked them to keep it down because my wife has to be up to work early fairly often. A couple nights later, I went out to talk to them again, it wasn't as bad, but…. Apparently, they'd been trying to keep it down some, but didn't realize it still vibrated my front windows. I haven't heard them since.

The little criminal across the street is a different story. He wasn't so bad when he first moved in, but at some point he took a nose dive. He frequently comes home at 2:00 or 3:00 am and sits in front of the house for awhile in his car. Not only does the house vibrate, but from inside the front door, I can sometimes make out the words. The week or so he spent in jail was nice and quiet a couple months ago.

I've talked to him before, but it doesn't do any good. I've called in noise complaints, but that only works for that night. He comes back. Hopefully the trebuchet solves my problem.
