It's mean to poke fun at the misery of others... but sometimes it's funny.
Poor Jenn...
She was telling me of how her apartment flooded, and this was the first thing that popped into my head.
Historical note: It amuses me to think that this whole thing started out as a drawn out joke to give Jenn a hard time. This comic, and the one after it, didn't always look like this. The format was modified starting with the third comic.
